We are excited for to help you on the journey of finding the perfect bunny pet! There are a couple of things we want to be sure we have explained first regarding the purchase of one of our bunnies.
NON- REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT:
- When you pick out your bunny, let us know. We will send you an invoice via PayPal if that bunny is available. You can secure your bunny of choice at 6 weeks old with a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $37 via PAYPAL ($35 deposit + $2 PayPal fee). Magnolia Blossom Lops just needs your email address to send you the invoice. You do not have to have a PayPal account to be able to pay the invoice.
- The deposit must be paid in full within 24 hours of receiving it or the bunny becomes available for purchase again and I go down the list to the next person that was interested in that particular bunny.
PICK-UP:
- A pick-up location and day/time will be arranged by Magnolia Blossom Lops when your bunny is at least 8 weeks old or older, depends on bunny. Typically we meet in the parking lot of Pet Zone in Yorktown (4324 George Washington Memorial Hwy Yorktown, VA 23692).
- We will not sell a bunny earlier than 8 weeks. It is against the law. We reserve the right to say the bunny needs to stay with us a bit longer if the bunny has not reached the goal weight and we will supplement and wait for weight gain.
- Magnolia Blossom Lops reserves the right to cancel a sale at any time or refuse sale for any reason.
- The remaining balance is due prior to pick up via PayPal. An email will be sent to the buyer with the remaining balance invoice. Failure to pay the remaining balance before pick-up also means the bunny becomes available for purchase again and your deposit will not be returned.
- If for whatever reason the buyer misses the pickup date/time scheduled, the bunny becomes for sale again immediately.
- All bunnies leaving our rabbitry are healthy to the best of our knowledge at time of pick-up and will have been checked for any issues prior to leaving. The buyer should also inspect the bunny at the time of pick-up. We will not knowingly sell a sick bunny, but it is your responsibility to inspect your bunny before sale is final. Sale will be finalized once a bunny is paid for in full and the buyer has taken possession of it.
- Magnolia Blossom Lops does its best to ensure the sex of your bunny is the desired sex, however, mistakes do happen. It can be difficult to sex a rabbit. It is your job to check at the time of pickup.
- At the time of pickup, you are required to have a pet carrier or cage for taking your bunny home with some timothy hay.
- Please allow your bunny time to transition into its new environment. Keep it calm and quiet during the adjustment time. Head rubs are a great way to get the bunny used to you. Be sure no strong smells are near by the cage, as those can cause the bunny to get sick.
- All bunnies come with transitional pellet food so you can ease them into whatever food you choose. They also need access to Timothy hay always. We suggest no treats until at least 6 months old. Do your research!
AFTER PICKUP:
- Once the bunny is in your care, we are not responsible for the health of your bunny. We are also not responsible for any vet costs once the bunny is in your care. If the bunny becomes ill due to neglect, an accident, abuse, heatstroke, mishandling, or something else out of my control, I will not replace the bunny nor give you a refund. Please do your research on the care of Holland Lop bunnies.
- If at any time you decide to sell a bunny purchased from Magnolia Blossom Lops, we must be notified and given first right of refusal (bunnies@magnoliablossomlops.com). We will take a rabbit back for re-homing at our discretion, but no refund will be offered.
